Isaféh 1997

InterculturalidadIsaféh Project for water and light sculpture

This work won a finalist of honor in the International Contest for the elaboration of a sculpture of water and light in the city of Lleida in 1997, convened by the City Council of said city.

Isaféh is an urban decoration project conceived for a public rotunda that links with concepts of fertile virginity and sublimated love. Formally, it is a composition in which the water dome (oriental symbolism) coexists with the Greek cross, (western symbolism), in this sense it is a work of intercultural character. Aesthetically it is a multiple sculpture, since a set of sensors allows some compositional variations of water that would charge different sculptural forms.
