De-Lilies Discontinuous. Micro-stories [Alhma] *
De-Lilies Discontinuous can be considered a song to subtle love, the feeling of endearing infinity and magical silence. An approach to meta-values from the emotional family of the filias and against the tribes of hatred, envy and insidiousness. Sometimes, words work as brushes to paint realities and own territories, where an experimental spirit lives, partially deterritorialized from the world of functionalist speculations.
This book of micro-stories, collects several series of poetic writings that are part of works and experiences from different times and different circumstances and this can be seen in the tone, sometimes intimate, sometimes dreamlike or ironic that distill the different micro-stories. My alhma seeks, following the Italian philosopher Gianni Vattimo, a sense of freedom, defined as an oscillation between strangeness and familiarity. A freedom nourished by historicism and experimentation in different media, of reading and reflection. I feel a great affinity with the playful spirit that helps us to recover the puericia, the spirit of childhood in the sense defined by Ortega y Gasset, as a revulsion against the advance of the forces that reify us.
Alhma operates on the symbolic plane and seeks to agree on magical realities and collaborate with the enrichment of references that help create a more open and uplifting society.
The illustrations do not look for literalness, they evoke the idea of pens, charged with energy, from which the words emerge. summits and flutters accompany other formal abstractions that illustrate ascents, approaches and subtleties, radiant energy in textured backgrounds ...
