Altarpiece of the Divine Aurora

It is an altar of the seventeenth century, with all the adornments typical of the style, a true garden in which leaves, acanthus, cartouches in the columns, supports with angels are mixed-since the year 1964, there are six previously only four, we also see angels riding on pedestals and split pediments, slender urn in a semicircular arch with a half-barrel vault where the spliced polychrome effigy of Our Lady is worshiped, slender of medium size of subjugating simplicity and sweetness, with her divine son in arms, cheerful and attractive image laughing .. It seems to invite the song of his pious and endearing "Bell" that for more details and without any doubt, is the time of the altarpiece and the image.
On the sides of the niches two beautiful images: The Virgin of Peace and Santa Lucia. Now in place of the first is Santo Domingo de Guzmán, which fits very well with the style of the altarpiece.
In the upper part, under the coronary angels there is a good picture of the Crucifixion and the Purgatory with figures of splendid and varied colors, probably Spanish for the piety and mysticism that its characters breathe. Today it is restored.

Small, slender and of the most modern baroque, salomonic columns, niche in a semicircular arch with a starry sky background where the small image of the virgin is venerated. The ornamentation differs a bit from the previous ones. In his auction a beautiful picture of the Flemish school and a beautiful crucifix. Underneath a head-statue of the Lord that is conserved in the Parish. The Divine Aurora is a beautiful polychrome jewel of little more than one meter in height, of the style we call Baroque and carries the Divine Infant in his left arm. Adopt the attitude of movement typical of the effigies of his style. The simple face breathes candor, ingenuity, purity, Has the eyes humbly inclined, well delineated facial features and framed by splendid brown hair that falls, gently undulating, on his shoulders. It covers an airy white veil that through it accuses the aforementioned hair.
The figure is slender and proportioned, wearing a blue mantle-with golden stars-that gracefully falls from the shoulders to the feet and covers in sinuous undulations part of the dress, which arrives fully from his neck to cover the feet of the image. Literally these dresses and mantle fly, they embellish and lend a splendid frame to such a gracious figure.
The dress is knotted by a simple belt or cíngulo and falls in folds until the feet. The sleeves are embellished until their finish in the well-defined hands, in one of which, the right, carries a modern rosary. The Divine Infant is like his mother, a figure that causes-in his face-sympathy, affection, affection, candor, looks sideways as if wanting to secretly call to those around him and the carving details match the delineation of the features Facials pointed at the effigy of Our Lady. His hands are perfectly designed and like his eyes, they seem to call.
The base in straight gola has a sign on the front with an inscription. "QUASI AURORA CONSURG" name so celebrated in the splendours of the "Campanilla" cerverana. Its probable time is towards the middle of the s. XVIII.
