RETABLO OF SAN ANTONIO ABAD S. XVII

It is considered a baroque altar in its decadent period. In the original, the image of Santo Domingo de Guzmán was shown on the top. It was removed at 1964 and placed on the altarpiece of the Coronation. Nowadays, it displays salomonic columns and an abundant fitaria. Niche with semicircular arch. In the auction, a picture of perfect drawing but very darkened. The image of the Renaissance saint, of very well carved half-size, shows simple fabrics, a sincere and well-defined face. This beautiful carving is part of the artistic and numerous imagery that the parish treasures. We can say that all of them are of great artistic content and without a doubt belong to great master carvers. This altarpiece as well as its namesake of S. Francisco de Asís (current S.Isidro Labrador from 1964) have in the bottom part two cavities in fluted half-barrel vault that will be the survival of the first two altars in which both images were venerated .

Transitional altarpiece of refined taste. It is very slender and adorned, shows striated columns that sit on two beautiful supports in gola (molding, adornment, armor) straight, brackets (corbels, shelves), Corinthian capitals, barrel vault radial grooved (grooved, split, carved ). It is crowned with an aesthetic cartela with motives of the Passion.

RETABLO OF SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR

It was previously dedicated to San Francisco. It presents characteristics similar to the altarpiece of San Antón Abad. The image of San Francisco de Asís, is Renaissance, like that of San Antonio Abad and its location is similar, occupying the interior sides of the second nave of the temple.

The image of S. Isidro Labrador was placed in the 40 years in the modern altarpiece of the Immaculate and later went to occupy the space of San Francisco, this saint went to the altarpiece of the Heart of Jesus.
